Celebrate: The Gift of Giving

Congratulations, you’ve taken the first step in helping to improve the life of a child!

Celebrate is an alternative giving program, put on by the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Inland Northwest, that is available to all who wish to use their special life-events to give back. Why not use your birthday to give the gift of a room at the House to a family with a child undergoing treatment for cancer? Who doesn’t want to use their anniversary as an excuse to supply a home-cooked meal to parents with a baby in the NICU?

Celebrating your life by allowing others to live theirs is the greatest gift you can give; so why not celebrate the gift of giving today?

HOW IT WORKS

This new giving program allows your loved ones to help celebrate your event, with donation in your honor in lieu of gifts. With our easy-to-use templates, you can quickly create your own, celebratory page, allowing others to acknowledge your special occasion with you. After your page has been created, just share the link with your friends and family and proceed to celebrate!

OUR MISSION

Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Inland Northwest provides temporary lodging, comfort and support for families with children accessing medical services in Spokane, and supports related efforts to improve children’s health in our region. RMHC Spokane supports three programs, all designed to strengthen local families and promote children’s health. Ronald McDonald House Spokane provides a “home away from home” for families with children accessing medical treatment in Spokane. The Ronald McDonald Family Rooms in Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital provide a place for families to rest and regroup right at the hospital while their children receive treatment. The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile Program enables over 2,000 children in Central Washington to access basic medical and dental care each year.

We are very grateful for our relationship with McDonald’s, and for the support of our local owners and operators.  Approximately 9% of our expenses each year are covered by McDonald’s restaurant customers dropping change in restaurant canisters. Over 75% of funding comes from individual donations. All contributions stay here in Spokane to help families in our region.
